My Approach & Philosophy
I believe the body holds the key to lasting change. After nearly 15 years in the mental health field, I’ve learned that traditional talk therapy often misses a crucial piece: the wisdom your body carries about your experience.
My approach is rooted in the understanding that you are the expert on yourself—you just need the right tools and knowledge to access that expertise. Through a blend of dance/movement therapy, somatic techniques, and insights from attachment theory and neuroscience, we’ll explore how you uniquely experience the world through thoughts, sensations, emotions, and movement.
Together, we’ll move through a three-phase process: learning about your nervous system’s needs, experimenting with personalized coping strategies, and integrating these skills so you can navigate life’s challenges with confidence. This isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reconnecting you with your body’s innate capacity for healing and helping you reclaim the peace, focus, and joy you deserve.
